Hi my name is Bishop i didn't have a great start to life you see when i was still a puppie i lived with a very horrible family that beat me, when i was a few months old my old owners cut off my tail with a knife and broke my jaw i was taken to a rescue home where a loving family came and took me home with another boxer dog boycie (who also sadly passed) thats where my happy life begin i had another doggy friend Misty she was alot older then me. on 7th December 2007 for the 1st time i managed to get out of house (naughty boy) whilst i was out someone i didn't know hit me over the head a caused a lot of damaged my family and the vet didn't think i would servive but i did to their suprise. my family was told i will pick all illness because of the damage that was done but in the begging of October 2008 i started being ill my nose was bleeding and i was wetting myself my owner took me to the vet and i was beening tested in the middle of October i got my results it wasn't good news i had CANCER which broke my family hearts as we also had to put my best friend Misty to sleep in August 2008 she had a really bad womb infecton and could not operate as she was 16 years old and 25th november 2008 i lost my battle my owner had to put me to sleep because i became very ill it wasn't fair to keep me alive. i am leaving behind my loving family but especially my human mummy and brother stuart i will miss our chats lol.
i just want to say thank you for picking me out of all the other dogs that needed a new home, i was very happy living with you and wished i could of been there longer xxxxxx

My furry friend is sick; something's terribly wrong
The vet checked him over; there's nothing he can do
I'm afraid soon I'll be sending him; home to You
Please take him back home; on the wings of a dove

Under bright sunlight; among the green grass and trees
He's been a part of my life now; for so many years
I'll miss him so much; my eyes are filling with tears

Loss of a dog
I just wanted to let you know that I made it home.The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and newI wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me.Try to understand God is taking care of me...I'm in the shelter of His hands.
